The Hay Loft

The Hay Loft is an apartment above the main office/workshop of Rivervail Farm. As guests you are permitted to walk the farm roads & trails. It is an open concept living space, with a pool table, checkers/chess table, two bedrooms, kitchen & bath. We often accommodate hunters, fisherman, snowmobilers and all types of outdoor enthusiasts. We are directly on NH Snowmobile Trail #18. Plenty of parking for your trucks and trailers.

We spent a wonderful week in The Hay Loft, and were able to hike, fish and mountain bike right from the back door! The house felt like home for us the moment we stepped inside. Thank you Shery and we can’t wait to come back next year!! Submitted

Had an absolutely wonderful time here!!! The views were beyond amazing and the hospitality was great!! We had a great stay and were completely impressed with this place. Loved the kitchen and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. The view of the animals was second to none!!! Thank you so much for having us………..we will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

When driving in, we didn’t know what to expect! Once we walked in, what a beautiful place!! So clean & fresh and very nice. It was just perfect for the four of us. We came up for a weekend of ATVing, though it did not have trail access, it was just perfect. The access was less than a mile away and we hadn’t done this section of the system in a while. We really loved having the pool table and we also brought up are own card games. We had the TV on only to access Sirius radio. We definitely plan on renting this apartment again. It was a real winner!!

We had a great stay at the Buffalo Farm! A beautiful apartment with everything we needed, plus the pool table was an extra great feature for the not so beautiful days. The place was very clean with modern appliances, very well maintained. Shery and her husband were extremely hospitable, they did everything they could to make our stay more than we expected. They also met us out on the farm the last day and gave us great info about the Bison and Elk. They included the kids in the fun and one even got a Bison horn shell as a prize! It was perfect getaway for all ages and we will definitely be returning!

Hands down one of the best escapes I have had for a while. Shery and all the people we ran into on the farm were extremely nice and welcoming! Spent my Bday weekend there for some ATV riding and an escape from reality! Upon arrival I was taken back by the beautiful scenery, wide open farm layout, mountains in the background, and crystal clear sky! I then learned this property is on the local Buffalo and Elk Farm! You get to take a walk into the farm and watch the lives of wild animals! So impressive. The dog absolutely loved running the front farm hay fields and taking in all the land had to offer! Fortunately, I was also able to purchase Elk and Bison Steaks from Shery’s husband and plan to make some homemade jerky with them! Visited all the local stores, local restaurants and have nothing but good things to say! Make sure you hit the pub in lower floor of Northern exposure, they really made us guests have some fun! The ATV trails parking is right down the road and the trails were amazing, well signed and easy to navigate. There is no question myself and others will be making a return to this property! You will be sure to enjoy.
